NAMELESS FROM THE CHURCH OF THE NIHILISTS

Over the years they have operated as two distinct artistic entities, and are created by the same people (with one exception): Nihilist Church
and Nameless for the first time in their history in one exhibition
(in two acts).

What is the analogy between pop-culture Fantasy universes
and myths sanctified by centuries of tradition? According to the Church of Nihilists, belief in the religious or digital hereafter is an attempt to escape or tame the brutal reality that surrounds us.
All are stories created by humans and for human needs, regardless of whether their origin is attributed to divine or artificial intelligence.
The exhibition is a visual combination of paintings by the Nameless collective, which refers to the iconic Gothic game series, and paintings created by the Church of Nihilists art group, which extensively juggles sacred aura and explores various kinds of fatalistic visions of the future.

“Nameless from the Church of Nihilists” is an exhibition that shows the power of rituals, the eternal need for metaphysical sensations and the system of power affecting human relations. Intuition and stream of consciousness are intertwined with philosophical reflection and playing with conventions.
